Pesci, vedete un collegamento ? - Fishes, can you see a connection ?

§ The Casa Rossa is always a still life building site but I keep collecting items and decorations which sooner or later will be useful to decorate it.
Let's hope sooner than later but I know it will be a slow process ....

§ Anyway, as I foretold you I have been the lucky winner on Ebay of a work by Brae, who most of all will know from her blog, Otterine's Miniatures.
It's a stunning piece and today I had fun settling it in a mock vignette  just to look at how it might be in its setting.

§ The china piece is another new buying, a Christmas gift from me to myself. I bought it on Etsy from Thierry's shop.

§ You may have noticed that someone is reading Handersen's tales, on the cover there is the Little Mermaid.

§ Here is my little fish, the scales details are perfect and the colour subtly softens all other its body.

§ Here you can see them better with the lotus which is its basement

§ And then a precious gift, two magnificent trouts !
They arrived freshly caught from United States by a dear friend who has been my guest for a couple of days.

§ Marylynne has been so kind to present me of some minis and this basket is one of them
These are beautiful fishes, I am sorry that my pics don't give them justice: they look alive !

§ My collection of sea linked items is growing bigger ....
Even though the Casa is still a dream is pure joy to be able to collect the works of so many miniaturist and share it with you
Pretty things make life happier :o)

Great additions to your collection, Rosanna! The porcelain fish is beautiful and so is the artwork by Brae! It fits your theme perfectly! The basket with the fresh "catch" needs to get to the kitchen pronto! LOL!

Where is the button to underline your last sentence??? ;O) I loved the result of your playtime a lot... and bravo on giving yourself the perfect Christmas gift. This fish sculpture is stunning... and without doubt just perfect in combination with this awesome picture. And what wonderful gifts you received - how I envy anyone being able to create such realistic food... But as Betsy already pointed out - you should better get them to the kitchen fast!

Hugs
