§ News at the Casa Rossa which begins to look like a house and not a huge cereal box.
§ Today we added the balconies which doubled their number. Originaly it had to be only one at the second floor but it seemed a bit empty therefore we added the one at the top floor replacing the window of the kids bathroom.
§ We recreated the aspect of the Genoese balconies with their broad braces.
§ This is the ledge which made us sweat blood over it to fix it in place. It still has to be plastered but it promises well.
§ And this is the roof , it has a zig zag profile but there is a reason ;o)
The tallest portion of the wall will be the back of the hut which will protect the landing of the stairs and it will serve as warehouse.
§ Lastly the back .... it looks like a prison but I grant you that it's identical to the original.
The windows give light to the stairs and are in scale with the real ones.
§ The roof pitch which will link the ledge to the roof is still missing but , slowly slowly , we'll get there.
Up to now I am hunting eggs cartons to make the slate tiles ..... seems impossible to find them but I shall succed !
§ Stay tuned for the next episodes .o))

I agree with Lucille . You and your dad have done a fantastic job! I like that the house will be all covered, no dust! Everytime I come by to see this house, I remember walking by the real thing , going to take a bus :) . I can't believe I will be doing that again soon.
You need egg cartons? I just threw some of mine away! Maybe I should shred them and send you a box?
