§ New arrival at the Casa Rossa!
Being a sailor's house, or at least in a coastal city, a bit of sea couldn't be missed.
This tiny, adorable dome is my last buying at Shannon's shop on Etsy.
I used her pic since my camera didn't give credit to the perfection of the two sea horses.
The mini acquarium will stay in the library but up to now it sits on my desk where I can enjoy it every day.

Favoloso!
Buongiorno Rosanna,
E incredibile! Tanto dettagli. E veramente ben fatto... Ottimo acquisto.
Un grande abbraccio,
Giac
As beautiful as it is I am not sure about how she gets these real seahorses.... and it does make me sad, after all they are animals..
Hugs
Seeing them I always wonder - were they alive or are they artifictial? If they are real then I am not so sure if I would like to have they no matter their beauty
this is adorable , I love it
An exquisite peace! I love it.
Hugs, Drora
Wow! Stunningly beautiful! It is the same type of display I was trying to make for the Tree House! (Sorry, Ewa! I have no idea how the seahorses were harvested! But I do know the ocean life is a rough one for all species... the chain of life....)I hope you will show us where they go in the House, Rosanna!
Es una pieza exquisita!!!!
Besos.
A real treasure!

Oooooh! Rosanna, those seahorses are quite spectacular!
I would want to have it where I would see it everyday too!
Stupendo!!!
Rosanna you always pick such exquisite pieces. And I like that you are keeping it on your desk for now. That's how I am with some of my favorites - I want to SEE them!
As for worrying about how they came to be, all I can say is if they WERE live (rather than handmade) now they're not. They're creatures, as are we, and all creatures pass on. I have seen dead seahorses on beaches, just as I've seen all sorts of shells (some with creatures inside) on beaches. Hope you won't let a few negative comments have any effect on your enjoyment of this little gem. :)
Hi Rosanna
I have just discovered your blog and I'm loving it.
All the best
Vivian
