§ Ora ho un po' più di tempo, i lavori per KDF sono finiti :o)))))), e posso dedicarmi un pochino ai miei blog.
Come avete "forse" letto nel mio post del 23 Novembre su La Stanza di Giuggiola ho avuto il piacere di incontrare Peiwen e di pranzare con lei.

§ Now  have a bit more time, works for KDF are finished :o))))))), and I can dedicate sometime to my blogs.
May be you read in my 23rd Nov post at La Stanza di Giuggiola that I had the pleasure of meeting with Peiwen and having lunch with her.

§ Ci eravamo già viste al Simp ma in fiera non si può chiacchierare e conoscersi, si fa tutto in fretta :o(

§ We already met at Simp but at the fair you cannot talk much and get to know each other, everything is in a hurry :o(

§ Invece mercoledì ci siamo concesse un pranzo a base di specialità regionali ed abbiamo potuto conoscerci meglio.

§ While Wednesday we had a lunch based on regional recipes and we could know each other better.

§ Che dire ? Peiwen è una ragazza assolutamente adorabile ed è l'ennesima prova di quanto il blog abbia arricchito la mia vita.

§ What shall I say ? Peiwen is an absolutely lovely girl and she another proof of how much my life has gained from blogging

§ Ed in questo caso posso dire anche la mia mini dispensa ;o)
Lei infatti è stato così generosa da portarmi questo cesto assolutamente FANTASTICO !

§ In una casa non c'è mai troppo di nulla , si sa che si deve essere pronti a tutte le evenienze
La Casa Rossa non fa eccezione e, per quanto sia ancora in costruzione, sto già raccogliendo tutto ciò che potrà servire.

§ There is never too much in a house, you know that we must be ready for any inconvenience.
The Casa Rossa makes no excepion and, although it is still under construcion, I am already gathering everything I might need.

§ Una cosa MOLTO importante per il padrone di casa sono le caramelle.
Ebbene sì, l'uomo di casa, il fan della Samp , è goloso di caramelle, specialmente di quelle gommose.
A me piacciano per l'aspetto , a lui piace il sapore ..... de gustibus.
Ma come potevo non fargliele trovare ?
Specialmente se qualcuno al mondo , come Cindy, riesce a farle così bene !!??
§ A MOST important thing for the house man are candies.
Yes, the house man, the Samp fan, is greedy of candies, mostly of gummy ones.
I like how they look, he loves their taste ..... not my piece of cake.
But how could I deprive him of them ? 
More over if somebody in the world , aka Cindy , makes them so wonderfully !!??

§ Sono a casa malata....

Ieri stavo così male che ho trascorso tutto il pomeriggio a letto, al buio e senza riuscire a sollevare la testa.

Oggi , all'alba delle 11.00 , sono riuscita ad alzarmi e ho finalmente fatto due fotine ai regali che Patrizia mi ha mandato.

Regali del tutto inaspettati e perciò ancora più graditi.

§ I am at home in sick leave ....

Yesterday I felt so poorly that I spent all afternoon in bed, in a darkened room and without lifting my head.

Today, at 11.00 am dawn , I managed to get up and I finally snapped a couple of piccies to Patrizia's gifts.

Totally unwaited for gifts and for this reason even more welcomed.

 § La teiera è deliziosa ma la gelatina mi fa impazzire !!! è ....molliccia ed appiccicosa !! proprio come quella vera !!!  mi piace da morire ! l'ho messa sotto una campana di vetro perchè ho paura che si rovini o attragga la polvere ( che in casa mia regna sovrana)

§ The teapot is lovely but the jelly drives me crazy !!! it's flabby and sticky !!! just like the real thig !!! I love it to bits !! I put it under a glass dome because I'm afraid that it might get ruined or it might attract dust ( which is queen in my house)

Delizie per il té - Eyes candies for tea

§ Chi segue questo blog sa che al piano terra della Casa  Rossa ci sarà una sala da té-libreria per cui io sto collezionando oggetti ed ornamenti.

§ Those who follow this blog know that at the ground floor of Casa Rossa there will be a tea room-bookshop for which I'm collecting objects and accessories.

§  Il porta torte/cupcakes in foggia di prato doveva essere mio !Ha un chè di fiabesco che mi lasciava sempre a bocca aperta ed , insieme ai copri cupcakes a forma di fiore, crea un'aura da giardino incantato.

 § The grassy tiered cake/ cupcakes stand had to be mine ! its fairy tales look always left me open mouthed and, along with the flowery cupcakes liners , creates an enchanted garden mood.

 § Carol ha preparato anche un kit per questa delizia , un fiore dentro un cartone di latte .... non è la cosa più carina che abbiate mai visto ?

§ Carol also made a kit for this lovelie , a flower planted in a milk cartoon ... isn't it the cutest thing ?

§  E non poteva mancare una torta ! una torta alle ciliegie talmente perfetta che quando 'ho presa in mano e mi sono accorta che NON era soffice ci sono rimasta male ! e guardate le ciliegie, sono incredibili.

§ A cake was a must have ! a cherry cake so perfect that when I touched it and I realised that it was NOT soft I was nearly deluded ! and look at the loose cherries, to die for.

§ E questo è il perno su cui ruota l'allestimento per la mia sala da té : lo splendido acquarello che Josje mi regalò l'anno scorso e che ha impostato la scelta di tanti particolari. Grazie mille Josje.

Vi piacciono le verdure? - Do you like veggies?

§  A me sì , mi piacciono vere e mi piacciono in miniatura specie se sono così splendide.

§ I do , I like them in real and I like them in mini  especially if they are so splendid.

§  Hanno un aspetto fresco e croccante , non vi fanno venire la voglia di rosicchiare ?

§ They have a fresh and crunchy look, wouldn't you like to nibble them ?

§ Ce n'è per tutti gusti                 -        § They are fit for any taste

§ I pomodori sono fantastici, lucidi e polposi.     -      §The tomatoes are wonderful , shyny and fleshy.

§Le carote son state appena raccolte .....          -     § The carrots have been digged out just a few minutes ago......

....così come le radici ed i porri.                    -           ..... like the radishes and the leeks.

il frigo rosa ((^_^)) - The pink fridge ((^_^))

 Walter, d'ora in poi nominato come CaroMarito, ha mantenuto il suo impegno ed ieri ha stuccato e verniciato il frigorifero. ROSA !!!!

Walter, from now on named DearHusband, has kept his word and yesterday he has plastered and painted the fridge. PINK !!!!

Ecco la scritta SMEG. Ieri Nyork mi ha chiesto come fare la scritta.

Sylvia l'ha stampata su carta fotografica poi io ho ritagliato le letterine con un bisturi e le ho incollate.

Here is the SMEG logo. Yesterday Nyork asked how to make the letters.

Sylvia printed it on photografic paper then I cut them with a sharp knife and glued them.

 

Oggi poi l'ho riempito con quello che avevo in casa; frutta, verdurine, funghi, latte  e un dolcino.

Today I filled it with what I had at home; fruit, veggies, mushrooms, milk and a dessert.

I porcini sono opera di Loredana, i peperoni farciti sono di Minicaretti, il culatello è di Elisabetta, i cartoni di latte sono di Asuka, le verdure di Terry, la tortina è di Kim

oggi ho passato quasi tutto il giorno in casa .... colpa dell'influenza !

Sono andata in negozio solo per mezz'ora per vedere una cliente e poi mi sono fiondata a casa sotto le coperte.

Adesso ho gli occhi abbastanza aperti per scrivere un post veloce veloce e per farvi vedere i regali che ho ricevuto recentemente.

today I spent nearly all day at home .... due to a flu !

I went to the shop just for half an hour to see a customer and then I run back home to my duvet.

Now my eyes are open enough to write a quick post and to show you the gifts which I lately received.

Oiseau de Nim

La scorsa estate Peiwen mi scrisse per avere notizie sulla cucina Italiana e così ci siamo scambiate delle mail.

Qualche giorno fa mi avvertì che mi sarebbe arrivato un pacchetto da parte sua, non pensavo che sarebbe arrivato un pasto completo :o))

Last summer Peiwen wrote to me to have some information on Italian cooking, hence we exchanged a few mails.

Some days ago she warned me that I should have received a parcel, I didn't think I should have got a whole meal :o))

Pera al forno e conchiglie di cioccolato. C'è una ditta Belga che fa conchiglie proprio come queste.

Oven cooked pear and choco shells. There is a belgan firm which produces shells exactly like these.

Stufato e crema brulee, sono sazia !
