Real life v/s Mini life

§ There is a fellow blogger, Marylynne who has a love for Italy and whom I have been  "talking" with for a while.
She is a fellow stitcher and a few days ago she sent me this sweet pic.

It is her family in late 50's and look what's hanging on the wall over their head ? MY pattern !
How serendipitous is this ?
Marylynne thinks that this was a McCall's pattern.

I admit that I know nothing about McCall but I was thrilled and delighted to receive this image.
Again mini life is made true .... or is it the contrary ?


§ C'è un'amica di blog, Marylynne che ama l'Italia e con cui ho cominciato a  "chiacchierare" da un po' di tempo.
E' una ricamatrice e qualche giorno fa mi ha mandato questa bella immagine.

Questa è la sua famiglia alla fine degli anni 50 e guardate cosa c'è appeso sul muro sopra le loro teste? il MIO schema !
Ma che coincidenza è questa ?
Marylynne mi dice che pensa essere uno schema McCall.

Devo ammettere di non sapere niente su McCall ma sono stata elettrizzata e deliziata da questa fotografia.
Di nuovo mini life diventa vera .... o è il contrario ?

§ Ot e Sien sono due amici e le loro storie sono antiche , la prima è fu pubblicata nel 1902.
Sylvia me ne aveva parlato quando mi regalò un minuscolo quaderno che li rappresentava.
§ Ot and Sien are two friends and the stories are ancient , first published in 1902.

Sylvia told me about them when she presented me a mini book depicting them.

§  Durante il mio viaggio in Olanda ho trovato questo mazzo di carte.
Il gioco non lo conosco ma le carte sono bellissime , sono 4 serie da 13 carte , ognuna con un diverso soggetto.
§ During my trip to Netherland I found this deck of cards.

I don't know the game but the cards are beautiful , there are 4 series of 13 cards, each one with a different subject.

  § Eccole tutte insieme , potrebbero diventare dei deliziosi quadretti per le nostre casette
§ Here they are all together , they might be lovely prints for our little houses

§ Ho deciso di regalare due di queste serie ,una su questo blog e l'altra sul blog La Stanza di Giuggiola.
